Cascade Family Flyfishers

The Cascade Family Fly Fishers would like to invite you to our January club meeting which will be on the 25th. This month we are privileged to have Arlen Thomason, author of Bug Water, as our guest speaker. Arlen has spent much of his retired life studying bugs and bug behavior along our very own Mckenzie River. His book, Bug Water, gives the fly fisherman and fly tyer a unique look at the life cycles of aquatic insects and how trout relate. The pictures and information are first rate. He will be speaking about his experiences and giving us all a rare opportunity to explore a bugs life. Be sure not to miss this one folks! Just a reminder the doors open up at 6pm and the meeting will start promptly at 7pm.

Cascade Family FlyFishers is a club dedicated to improving our local waterways, preserving this precious resource for future generations and most importantly we’re fly tiers, trout bums and steelheaders that love to spend time on the water learning and living the craft that is flyfishing.

We’re teachers and students, mentors to youth and to each other. We’re friends and we are families!

General Meeting location —EWEB  500 E 4th, Eugene, OR.   Meeting Room– “Training Center”.  4th Wednesday of Each month.  Meeting starts @ 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Fly tying demonstration from 6:00 pm.
